Tim Burton: He can forge such a magical world where you can escape from reality into the childlike part of your mind.
Sophia Coppola: She is a female supervisor for starters lol and she always has an interesting take on films...she's very arthouse and although people hated her film Marie Antoinette, I loved it and the way she incorprated new music with a period setting.
The Cohen Brothers: They are simply directing geniuses! They are smart, piquant, collaborative and they just make top A films.
and Baz Lurhmann: My favourite movie is Moulin rouge lol. He is so artistic and flamboyant, gorgeously arthouse, he's Australian lol and he just has that FLAIR, he knows how to present something to the screen and doesn't go for decipherability lol...which makes him my favourite director :)

If I'm 14 and I go to the movies to see a rated-R movie, and if I'm with a parent, will they let me see it?

I am not an American and I don't genuinely know a lot about USA. But I am a huge fan of movies by Quentin Tarantino and my plan is to see his new movie - "Inglourious Basterds" in theater. However, it is rated R and I'm only 14. And if I'm with an grown up guardian, will they let me in?

No, it is all mythical. However, the film is influenced by Italian director Enzo Castellari's 1978 movie Inglorious Bastards...for whatever that is quality.
