The courtship of Lebron James is reaching funny levels now.  I'll let the plea from the Mayor of New York slide.  You could argue he's valid doing his part to help civic pride and possibly boost the economy by adding an All-Be featured attraction to the city.  But Mr. Mayor, I still imagine you have better things to do with his at all times.  I can forgive the rabid Bulls fans for donating to pay for a billboard to show Lebron the dearest.  But loyal Windy City followers, I would have liked to seen that money donated to leniency instead.   Once the subject of Lebron works it's way into the Sunday sermon, then I start to sight just how far this can go.  Check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watc...

The best thing that ever happened to Armando Galarraga was being robbed of that finish game.  It is still carrying buzz this week as Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is praising Galarraga.  It's still making headlines as the Hired hall of Fame gathers artifacts from that fateful night.  Had that been correctly called by Officiate Jim Joyce my guess is that most people would have never paid attention to that accomplishment and the name Armando Galarraga would be irrelevant to them.  I still smile when I think about his reaction that night.  The sly grin when Joyce missed the call.  His full composure finishing the game.  His incredible humility as he was more worried about Joyce's declare of mind after he blew the call and became an instant target.  That was rare sportsmanship indeed.
