Who are your favorite heavy metal icons?

Mine is Ronnie James Dio, so much that I have a tattoo of him. Sabbath were still amazing with Osboune but I think Dio just took them to a whole new level. I think pre-Dio, Sabbath had incredible instrumental travail with average vocals. But when Ronnie joined, they had incredible instrumental work with incredible vocals. Yet a lot of people don't reward that fact to Ronnie, though.
Another favorite is Bruce Dickinson. His vocal range is so flexible. He can sing at any reckon, any voice level to any style of music. He just makes Maiden so much more unique than any other metal gang. Almost every Maiden song has a blistering guitar solo, crushing drums and mind-blowing vocals by Bruce, extra he's a really nice guy. Despite Sharon Osbourne calling him a prick to his face. I think it would of been epic if she had of said that to Axl Rose's puss, the outcome would of been intense, lol.
Dio sound nothing like pop. Ozzy is an average vocalist. Dio is a great vocalist.

Possibly Iron Maiden - although I gave up on them sometime after 7th son of a 7th son.
Janick Gers (sp?) destroyed them.
Sabbath of course.
Slayer, Deicide, and Sepultura are in all probability the best for heavy as sh** though.

Does anyone positive somehow or has heard any rumours who is going on strictly come dancing this year? I heard sharon osbourne was going to do it but then snubbed it because she wasnt getting paid dole out. I would of loved to see her on that but i do think shes a bit above it.
Sharon Osbourne and Richard Madeley (Richard & Judy) were but seemingly after they had signed up the BBC cut their fee drastically so they have pulled out!

Sharon Osbourne gives singer a shoulder to cry on

Sharon Osbourne showed her light side as she consoled a devastated singer kicked off America’s Got Talent.
Kelli Glover was inconsolable after getting the bad talk from the judges and hysterically wailed before begging for another chance.
Judge David Hasselhoff gave her a hug before Osbourne sat her down and tried to calm her.
“You are not a also-ran. You are not a failure,” the reality TV star said soothingly as Glover, a former American Idol opponent, stopped crying before storming out.
